MAC's Festive Frost Face Kit Review

Hey everyone! So this is my 2nd product review EVER! This time I am reviewing the MAC Festive Frost Face Kit and let me start off by saying that this kit is AMAZING. I can honestly say this is one of the few collections from MAC that has put a smile on my face. Everyone needs this kit in their life, not just for the holidays but you can use this all year around (yes it comes with EVERYTHING you see in the picture, even the brushes) It's just a great quad of colors. The kit comes in a white compact with a plastic dome lid filled with liquid silver glitter. It is sooo cute! MAC is currently charging $59.50 for the kit which is not bad at all for what all is included with it. So let me start off with the eyeshadows. (I did not do swatches, sorry) From the top left going clockwise: "Once Upon a Time" is a sheer tannish color with a hint of pink, it's a beautiful color and so far I've only used it as a highlight but there is so much more you can do with that color. It'd be really gorgeous on the lid as well. The 2nd color is "Below Zero" which is a slightly shimmery dark brown/burgundy color. This color is so beautiful, the hint of burgundy just makes the color pop on your eyes. The 3rd color is "Embark" and it is a really RICH matte dark brown color. This is absolutely my favorite eyeshadow in the whole quad because it is a brown that can look amazing on any skintone especially women of color because it will not blend in with our skintone. I had the hardest time finding a brown eyeshadow for that exact reason. The forth color is called "Expensive Pink" and it's a shimmery pink with a hint of a champagne color. This pink is very vibrant and blends extremely well. For the lips, there is a "Imagine This" which is a light pink lipstick that has a tint of gold in it. Then, there's the lipglass in "Tra-la-la" which is a shimmery gold lipgloss. Both colors are very pretty and go well together (or you can use them separately) Also, there is a dusty rose colored blush included in the kit but I don't use it because it does not show up on my skin tone (bummer). The brushes that come in the kit are your average MAC brushes a fluffy brush for the cheeks or for powder and a lip brush as well as an angled brush. Like I said before, EVERYONE needs this kit in their lives. It is just that awesome. Well done, MAC.
